En la mayoria de los casos es posible colocar una prótesis provisional fija el mismo día o pocos días después de la cirugía. La prótesis definitiva se instala una vez completada la osteointegración, generalmente entre 4 y 6 meses.

Fase inicial: dieta blanda (purés, sopas, pescado, huevos, pastas suaves, Pan.). Progresivamente: se reintroducen alimentos más firmes. Con prótesis definitiva: podrás comer prácticamente de todo, evitando hábitos extremos como morder objetos duros.

Higiene oral estricta (cepillado especial, cepillos interproximales e irrigador). Uso de enjuagues recomendados por el odontólogo. Asistir a controles periódicos y limpiezas profesionales. Una buena higiene es clave para la durabilidad y el éxito del tratamiento.
