Breast reduction and lift

Breast lift surgery, with or without implants, and breast reduction are outpatient surgical procedures designed to correct breast ptosis (sagging), reposition the areola-nipple complex, and restore firmness, shape, and proportion of the breasts. These procedures are particularly beneficial for patients experiencing volume loss, sagging, or physical symptoms such as back and neck pain, shoulder indentations, or submammary irritation. Depending on the individual case, the surgery can be performed using only the patient's own tissue when there is sufficient volume, combined with implants if there is significant volume loss, or as a breast reduction to decrease size and alleviate functional discomfort. The technique is tailored specifically to each patient based on the degree of ptosis, skin quality, glandular volume, and body proportions, always aiming for a natural, harmonious, and long-lasting result. Dr. Catherine Barón's unique approach lies in her individualized surgical strategy, precise technical selection, detailed resection and remodeling design, responsible medical indications (avoiding unnecessary implants), planning focused on structural support to prevent recurrence, preservation of sensitivity, and optimal healing, all while adhering to strict safety protocols and providing close, structured postoperative follow-up.
